Summary
Cabinetry CRM
Sales Tools & Automation

A cabinetry sales team was stitching together Monday.com, Excel, and PandaDoc to get from estimate to signed proposal — with the integration between them breaking constantly. We built a prototype of a single, purpose-built system to show management what replacing all three could look like.

The problem

Monday.com wasn't built for their sales workflow, and the Excel-to-PandaDoc integration powering their proposals kept breaking.

The timeline

2 weeks, prototype only — no UTE built yet.

The cost

R32,000 for the prototype.

The challenge

The team was running deals through Monday.com — a general-purpose project management tool that wasn't built for how a cabinetry sales team actually works. Estimates were built by hand in Excel, and that pricing data had to be manually kept in sync with PandaDoc to generate proposals clients could sign. The integration between the three tools broke often, costing the team time and creating room for costly pricing errors.

The solution

We built a working prototype of a single, purpose-built system — replacing Monday.com, Excel, and PandaDoc with one connected pipeline, estimation, and proposal workflow — so the team could show management exactly what a custom-built alternative could look like before committing to the full build.

How we delivered

2 weeks to a client-ready prototype

01
Discovery & brainstorm Week 1

Mapped how the team actually works across Monday.com, Excel, and PandaDoc — and where that workflow kept breaking.

02
Prototype build Week 2

Designed and built a working front-end prototype of a single system to replace all three tools, ready to present to management.

Investment

R32,000 for the prototype

Prototype
R32,000

Interactive prototype covering the pipeline, estimation, and proposal flow.

The client was thrilled with the result and used the prototype to win buy-in from management for a full build.
